London investor acquires second Birmingham building

An workplace constructing in a Birmingham suburb has been acquired by a London-based developer and investor.

Consortia Developments has purchased Gamgee Home in Ladywood for an undisclosed price.

The 17,500 sq ft constructing in Darnley Highway was beforehand owned by office healthcare firm BHSF which had occupied the location because it was inbuilt 1976.

It has offered the property to Consortia Developments following its relocation to new places of work at 54 Hagley Highway in September.

Archie Ward, managing associate at Consortia Developments, stated: “Gamgee Home represents a slight departure from our typical property investments that are predominantly residential.

Gamgee Home is Consortia Improvement’s second acquisition in Birmingham.

The corporate purchased Lockside Home in Scotland Avenue from charity federation Groundwork in 2020 which it’s at the moment redeveloping into 61 canalside houses. The scheme is scheduled for completion in 2023.

BHSF was suggested by Smeeton & Dixon Consultancy.
