SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — The Louis Vuitton retailer in San Francisco’s Union Sq. was hit in a brazen smash-and-grab theft Friday evening.
In response to San Francisco cops responded to Union Sq. shortly after 8 p.m. Friday and noticed a number of suspects “concerned in prison acts.”
San Francisco officer Robert Rueca mentioned late Friday that police have arrested a number of suspects and officers are responding to reviews of different retail institutions the place vandalism has occurred Friday night. Extra officers are responding to the Union Sq. space.

Video posted to Twitter by @Yealenne confirmed the storefront with damaged glass on the sidewalk.
One other dramatic clip from person @CARLITOSGUEY confirmed what seemed to be a number of the suspects fleeing the shop adopted by police arriving in a patrol automobile, swarming a suspect’s car, placing it with their batons and dragging an individual to the road.

One eyewitness advised KPIX that greater than a dozen folks may very well be seen working out of the shop clinging to merchandise, hauling off as a lot as they may carry.
