Sean Parnell has suspended his marketing campaign to signify Pennsylvania within the U.S. Senate, after a court docket order made public on Monday granted the Republican’s estranged spouse sole authorized custody and first bodily custody of the pair’s three kids.

Parnell’s spouse, Laurie Snell, has accused him of a litany of abuses, starting from choking her and placing one in all their kids, to attempting to persuade her to have an abortion when she was six months pregnant, in response to media stories.

NPR member station WESA stories that in a custody listening to, Parnell emphatically denied these allegations. When proven an image that purportedly confirmed a handprint-like welt on his son’s again, Parnell responded: “That isn’t an image of my son.”

Each Parnell and Snell had sought sole custody of the three kids. The decide discovered that Parnell was the “much less credible” witness, in response to the Washington Publish.
